THIS WAS NEVER JUST A BUSINESS.
The Booyah! began with a mom, five little kids, a newborn baby, and a story that looked nothing like the beginning of a successful business.
In 2019, I was a single mom raising five young children, including a newborn.
Not long before that, my children and I had experienced homelessness. We lost nearly everything and spent months living together in our van.
I didn't start a business because life was easy.
I started because I needed to build something better for my babies.
What began as a small jewelry business grew faster than I ever imagined. Within our first six months, we reached six figures in sales. Along the way came accomplishments, awards, titles, trophies, milestones, and opportunities that once felt impossible.
But the biggest accomplishment was never a trophy.
It was proving to myself—and to my children—that losing everything didn't mean our story was over.
THEN CAME THE BOOYAH!
By late 2021, we were ready for something bigger.
We branched out and began building our own independent brand:
THE BOOYAH!
We expanded beyond jewelry into clothing, accessories, bags, hats, licensed and brand-name merchandise, fine jewelry, trending products, gifts, and so much more.
The vision was bigger than simply selling things.
I wanted to build an entire shopping experience.
Then life changed again.
BUILDING A BUSINESS BESIDE MY MOM
In early 2022, my mom—my best friend—was diagnosed with terminal cancer.
Everything changed.
We moved our operation to Mom's house, and somehow I learned to balance raising five children, caring for my mom, running a business, and continuing to build this dream.
We lost her in July 2022.
There are some losses you don't simply "move on" from. You learn how to carry them while continuing forward.
And that is exactly what we did.
WE KEPT BUILDING.
Over the next several years, The Booyah! continued evolving.
We expanded our merchandise.
We grew our online community.
We offered online business training.
We created an affiliate program designed to help other people learn how to build businesses of their own.
Most importantly, we discovered that the greatest thing we had built wasn't a store.
It was a community.
Then came another season of life.
Illness. Personal setbacks. A completely unexpected and complicated pregnancy. And ultimately, the premature arrival of my sixth baby, Lily, followed by a NICU journey we never expected.
Life once again reminded me that sometimes the plans we make aren't the plans we end up living.
But The Booyah! story has always been about getting back up.
AND NOW… THE BOOYAH! IS BACK.
We're rebuilding bigger, better, and with an even greater appreciation for the people who have supported us along the way.
Our first priority isn't numbers.
It isn't followers.
And we don't even like thinking of you as simply "customers."
You're our community. You're our Booyah! family.
That's why we're bringing back the things that made this place so much fun in the first place.

And we're still here.
